The "All for Books" fundraising coin challenge is Monday, October 29 - Friday, November 2.
Students will bring in coins based on the following themes:
Mysterious Monday - Bring in PENNIES & earn an extra book at checkout!
Fairy Tale Tuesday - Bring in NICKELS and earn a scratch & sniff bookmark!
Wish Upon a Star Wednesday -Bring in DIMES and earn extra recess!
Trolls Hair Thursday - Bring in QUARTERS and earn chewing gum at DEAR time!
Into the Forest Friday - Bring in ANY coin or dollar and earn a campout in the library!
The money we collect pays for books for our Free Book Friday giveaways. Last year, BSE gave away over 850 brand new books to our students and every student went home with a new book!
The Scholastic Possible Fund will also match every cent we raise (up to $1 million) and distribute books to children in need through organizations like the Kids in Need Foundation, Reader to Reader, Inc. and the National Center for Families Learning.

The Bailey Bear Boogie is a run/walk-a-thon that takes place at the BSE bus loop and is the biggest PTA fundraiser of the year. The kids LOVE IT!
💰 The money raised stays at BSE and will be used towards instructional and technology needs.
Teachers will receive 10% of what their classroom raises back to use in THEIR OWN classrooms for supplies and classroom needs.
Cash and checks made out to BSE PTA will be accepted, but online donations are preferable.

Monday, April 2 – Gift Card Day! Please bring your teacher a gift card for any amount! Don’t forget about your LAMPS (Library, Art, Music, PE, Stem and Counselor) teachers or other specialists who have enriched your child’s education this year.
Tuesday, April 3 – School Supply Day! Please bring your teacher any school supply for their classroom. Your room parent can supply you with a list of your teacher’s needs.
Wednesday, April 4 - Snack Day! Please bring your teacher their favorite snack. You can bring something sweet, salty or healthy.
Thursday, April 5 – Thank You Note Day! Please bring a thank you note to your teacher expressing your appreciation for all they do. Don’t forget your LAMPS teachers.
Friday, April 6 – Spirit Day! Wear your favorite Bailey Station attire to show your school spirit for all of our wonderful teachers and staff members. Give a compliment or do a Random Act of Kindness for your teachers.

Invitations with payment info will be coming home the week of January 21. Tickets are $25 per family before February 1st and $35 at the door, via cash or check only. Dinner will be provided, music for boogying plus a craft, door prizes, a fun selfie booth and more! There will be additional things for purchase at the dance including:

All proceeds go directly to support Bailey Station Elementary PTA's fundraising efforts for our new playground!
Support the Kyle Kiihnl Memorial Foundation Don't Drive Drowsy by bringing $2 and wearing your PJs to school. Kyle Kiihnl was a 17 year old junior at Houston High School in Germantown, TN when he lost his life to a driver that fell asleep at the wheel. Since that time his family has made it their mission to educate drivers on the dangers of driving sleep impaired.
It's Bailey Bear Boogie Time!
The BBB is a one-day walk/run-a-thon event, held in the Bus Loop, with prizes based on pledges, school spirit, and participation. Students have 30 minutes to run, walk, or skip around the bus loop.
This is the BSE PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year, with 100% of the funds used towards the new playground fund, technology enhancements and other programs for students and teachers. This year, 10% of classroom funds stay IN THAT CLASSROOM for supplies and classroom needs. Last year, we raised more than $35,000!! What?!
